Vacations!

Vacations...

Like the falling leaves of the autumn tree,
I greet my vacations with a pleasant glee.
Pushing the thought of work aside,
I wake up each day and rest, not gripe.

Alas! The time of comfort and ease,
Without the need of my elbow grease.
But is life a little to perfect right now,
Eating nicely and sleeping sound?

The time where the urge to do something is lurking,
Where I wish I can get busy and do something (that's coming)
And I'm hoping to allocate things to my schedule,
So that life's not wasted by the time school-reopening's due.

But then again the cycle starts,
Where people worry, stress and even fart!
And wished the vacations were back,
And they could be given a little more slack.

Ah, the life of a student's always great,
Where we dream and plot our very own fate.
So let's not gripe, complain and grumble so much,
And take it in stride, that's life as such.
